Come help the Mountain Shop at the Ape Canyon aid station on the Volcanic 50k course Saturday August 6th! The aid station is a 4.5 mile hike in (up!) and is the last aid station on the course with amazing views of the mountain!
We should see the first runner at around 10:50am and the last runner should be there by 4:00pm. The aid station has a 4:00pm cut-off, so any runner that arrives after 4:00pm will need to hike out with us. The sweepers should arrive soon after the last runner and we can shut down once they arrive.

Meet at
Marble Mountain Sno Park at 6:30am on race morning (Saturday 8/6), grab all the aid station gear and head over to the
Ape Canyon Trailhead. It’s about a 15-minute drive from Marble Mountain to Ape Canyon. Hike up 4.5 miles to aid station location.
Water will have already been stashed near the aid station and we will talk about this when we meet on race morning. You are welcome to camp out Friday night at Marble Mountain Sno Park, as it is about a 2-hour drive from Portland.
Please bring the following items:
- warm clothes
- headlamp
- large backpack
- personal water for the hike in
