Heidi (Skildum) Smeby

Cold weather has never bothered Heidi: she grew up skiing in Northern Minnesota, played ice hockey for the first half of her life, and spent the better part of her adulthood running through Midwestern windchill. She has enjoyed the larger playground in the PNW and continues to trail run competitively, ski volcanoes, backpack through forests, and paddleboard mountain lakes. In between adventures, Heidi has worked in the fields of education, non-profits, and organic farms. She dreams of ways to make the outdoors feel safe for every body and how to build diversity and inclusion in the outdoor industry.
