The second of a three-part race series will take place at Mount Hood Skibowl on March 23rd, 2019. Come join the fun and test your skills. The series is designed to provide an introduction into the world of Ski Mountaineering (ski-mo) racing while bringing together our mountain community. Registration and race check-in will be at the Outback Lodge at Skibowl West.
Pre-registration cost is $35 (per race) and ends April 4th for the first race
Day-of registration is $45
Registration will get you:
- Race Entry Fee
- Venue access
- 2 Free Raffle Tickets
- 50% Mountain Shop rental set-up for racing
*Rental gear must be picked up from the shop the day prior to racing and the participant must have printed proof of registration to receive discount*
Not planning to race? There is still plenty of fun to be had! Stick around for the after race award ceremony and celebration party to mingle with other mountain sports lovers!
Below is race day schedule:
- Registration & Check-In opens at 9:00 am at the Wiwnu Wash Lodge at Skibowl West.
- Racers assemble for meeting and pre-race course inspection at 10:15 am.
- The official race begins at 11:00 am
- Awards in the Beer Stube at 1:30 pm
Personal Helmets recommended, but not required.
Skibowl will still be offering open ski until lifts close with the awards and party happening in the evening at the Beer Stube.
Race #2 at Skibowl will be fundraising money for the Northwest Avalanche Center.
