Trail Running

Danielle Snyder
An avid trail and mountain runner who lives in mostly in her van in the PNW with her street dog, Petra.

At the age of 12, I started running with my mother before work and have continued to rock the early morning runs to catch sunrises most days of the year. Since moving to the PNW in 2011, I have become even more obsessed with mountains and how the environment heal our souls. My athletic adventures include being the first female to run the OR PCT as a FKT, other various FKT’s, races of all distances and my favorite adventure: how many times my dog find poop to roll in before we get back to the van.

My background as a clinical social worker, coach and athlete has led me to witness personally and professionally the tremendous connection between athletes’ mental well-being and their athletic performance. In order to help athletes excel in life and athletics, she developed a program that focuses on creating mental resilience and building confidence. As the founder of Inner Drive Athlete (http://innerdriveathlete.com), the program is helping to empower athletes to live their best lives.
