I was fortunate to be introduced to the mountains at a young age by my parents. I grew up ski racing and freeriding at Mt. Ashland, OR. My heroes included Pirmin Zubriggen and Scott Schmidt.  I've coached big mountain, backcountry skiing and ski racing the last 24 winters on Mt. Hood.  I enjoy an extended season climbing and skiing volcanos deep into the summer months. I'm also an aspiring trail runner, mountain biker and infrequent backpacker.

Fun Fact- My office is a 1950's railcar down by the river.

Athletes I admire- Killian Jornet, Eric Hjorleifson, Christina Lustenberger, and Eric Pollard

Goals- Ski Early Morning Coulior on North Sister, Traverse the Wallowa Mountain Range on skis.  Circumnavigate Mt. Adams on skis (I've run it previously.  What a wild adventure that was!).  Take my daughters backpacking at least once a summer (soccer is taking its toll on our summer calendar!). Climb and ski at least one volcano a year with my daughters... forever.
