Q: When I try to place an item in my basket, I get the message "This item is not currently available. Please contact us for availability of this item." What's up with that?

A: This message comes up because we are most likely sold out of the item. Call us at 503-288-6768 or e-mail us if you want to double check the inventory, which can be wrong sometimes, or look into future availability of an item.


Q: I was able to order the item on the website, but then I get a call or an e-mail telling me that you're sold out of the item. Why does this happen?

A: Many of the items that are available on our website are also available in our store. Inevitably we sell an item in the store, and you placed your order before our website updated its inventory to reflect the sale. We always do our best to notify you as quickly as possible. In a situation like this, your credit card is not charged.


Q:These ski boot and shoe sizes look weird to me. What size boot do I order?

A: Ski boots are measured in what is called Mondo Point, and some hiking boots and shoes are in European sizes. This table below should help you figure out what size you need.

Q: I've placed my order, now what?

A: You'll get an automated response by e-mail confirming your order. We'll get your item, ship it out and update your order with a tracking number. Another automated e-mail will be sent to you updating you with tracking information. You'll be able to follow the link in the e-mail to track your shipment on UPS.com.



Q: I live in Alaska or Hawaii. Do I qualify for free shipping?

A: Due to the additional charges involved with shipping outside of the contiguous United States, an additional fee will be assessed to your order. We'd love to offer free shipping to these areas, but it is too expensive for us to cover it.


Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: We don't ship internationally currently. Many of our vendor agreements only allow us to ship with in the United States. If there is enough interest in international shipping, we may offer it in the future.


Q: Can you ship to a PO Box?

A: The short answer is no. We use UPS to ship your order. UPS can only ship to a physical address, so that means PO Boxes are out.
